EASTER

When you have 2 girls, they have to have matching dresses whenever possible right! I couldn't pass them up! I thought these dresses were so dang cute! The easter bunny brought Taylor some fun stuff for her play kitchen and lots of fruit snacks! Candy in eggs of course and lots of other stuff from Grandma Easter Bunny! My girls get so spoiled for every holiday because they are the only grand children on Jaime's side of the family!



Taylor and her friend Annika colored easter eggs a few days ago! It was fun! I swear I never had that many colors to choose from as a kid! And a little funny fact, that was Jaime's first experience with coloring eggs and he is 26 years old! Kinda funny!










Taylor and her cousin Issy found fun in skate boarding down the street! It is always nice when someone else entertains them for a change!

St. Pati's Day

St Patricks Day for me is quite a different day then it is for most! My father passed away 18 years ago on St Patricks day from a Brain tumor. I doesn't make the day depressing by any means, but it just makes it a little bit harder for me to feel like celebrating something! On Sunday my family all went up to his grave site in Bountiful and sang our usual 'Families Can be Together Forever.' We usually all stay and tell about our memories of him but it was so cold this year that we couldn't stay long enough to do that! It was still a wonderful thing to be all together and think of him for a brief moment!

The Joys

What is it about having a baby sister around that makes Tay want to be one! She loves to pretend that she is a baby! Although she has been such a good big sister lately! The other day While I was in the shower, Jaime was down stairs with the kids, but in another room on the phone! Macie started crying and Jaime was trying to end his important phone call so that he could go help her out. By the time he got off the phone and into the kitchen, Taylor had climbed up onto the counter and gotten into my daiper bag, put water in Macie's Bottle and was just starting to put the formula in it. Jaime said, "what ya doin' Tay?" She said, "Macie was just hungry so I am making her a bottle!"

It has been so fun to see Taylor start getting concerned about the well being of her baby sis!

Who, by the way, is getting awefully chubby! I love it when babies are 5-7 months. I just want to squish her all the time! Macie is so fun right now. She smiles as soon as you make eye contact, loves to play with toys, and she is just squishy! She is starting to try to roll over and I also love this age because she doesn' crawl yet and get into things, but she is starting to get really fun to play with!

FIRST BRAKE!

It's about time I update this thing! I agree it is hard to be creative sometimes! ANYWAY! Our little Tay Jay had her first broken bone on Monday! She was trying to climb onto a stool to eat her lunch and fell down and it fell on top of her! I was worried about her leg because that is what the stool fell on and she was totally freeking out! All of the sudden she put her hand in front of my face and yells, "Mom, This hurts really bad!" Her poor pinky had turned purple immediately and started swelling right in the middle. Sure enough we went to the doctor and she broke her pinky! Poor girl already had my curse of crooked pinkys and I am sure it will just seem worse now!

For those of you who don't know about our crooked pinkys here are mine and Taylors pinky's right next to each other. Poor girl has to be asked what happened to her pinky's her whole life! The funniest part about the whole thing is that the doctor who looked at her finger had crooked pinky's too!

LIFEHOUSE

Okay, so last night I went t the LifeHouse concert with my bro John and his wife Chandi, in Salt Lake at The Depot (and no, I don't go clubbing!) First of all, I don't think I will ever go to a concert at the Energy Solutions Arena again! It was amazing being in that small crowd! There was no echo, awesome sound, and it was so much more personal! The only thing is ya gotta get there early so that you have a chair to sit on! My feet are still feelin it!

ANYWAY! It was so awesome! How in the world can they rock like that all night and not lose their voice! Seriously! Some of the songs reminded me of right after High School! Anyway, this guy opened for him named Matt Nathanson and this is his video. He was so good! Super Funny and I think he is probably my new fav! Check it out! Tell me what you think!

MY GIRLS!

In this picture it may appear that Taylor is working hard to build what is in the finished product on the Right! Actually, I decided that she only wants to do things like this so that she can tear my hard work apart!!! This clay was fun but messy! Luckily we found her new best friend GAK which is much less messy and much easier for her to play with by herself!

This picture is no joke. Macie's favorite thing to do (besides scream) is to grab anything near by and put it over her face. Somehow this is fun for her even though I wonder half of the time if she can even breath!
