Camo Famo!

On Saturday we had a big family party to celebrate my bro-in-law coming home and also to say goodbye to my sis and we were all supposed to ware camo! So maybe I went a little overboard with my family but we got there and hardly anyone was wearing camo! Oh well! we had fun getting in the spirit of things! My older brother made some comment about me having spirit and then brought up, "Oh yeah, I forgot you were a cheerleader!" Boy that was a long time ago when I was in the 9th grade! Anyway, here are the Pics!

TULIP FESTIVAL!!

So...Yesterday I went to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point and it turned out to be not such a Tulip Festival!!! Since it has been so much colder lately than usual the tulips haven't really bloomed yet! So here is one of the few that I saw! If you are planning on going I would wait until next week!

It was a really nice day and a good excuse to have a picnic, take cute pictures, and let the kids run wild...Right Nicole and Kara!!!

MY HUBBY

Well, I guess it is time to share a little bit about Jaime! First of all, I scored big time by finding a husband that loves to shop just as much as I do! Most women have to go shopping alone for them and their spouse, but not me! He can easily spend just as much time as I can at Express or any other of our favorite stops!

When you first meet Jaime he seems like the quite type! Some people I think can be a little intimidated by him because he is tall and kind of a big guy! It takes him a little bit of time to warm up but once he does he is pretty freaking hilarious! You know he is comfortable around you when he starts joking with you!

Jaime is a great dad! He loves his to play with his girls and tickle them! He is not afraid to watch the kids when I need some time off!

He is quite the mix! He loves cars, golf, video games and all that manly stuff, yet he likes to help me decorate and cook and he even loves a pair of pointed square toe shoes to go with his outfit! Some might say metro......I say, perfect husband! He really likes to come up with new sauces and different things for dinner and is very good with spices! I have learned a thing or two from him!

Jaime and I have both gotten new guitars in the last year or so and have been learning how to play! That is our new hobby! We are always looking up new songs to learn. We have a guitar club with some family members and we try to play for at least a little while after we put the kids down! I have always wanted to be able to do something with music with my hubby and well....there it is!

Well...Just thought it would be fun to share a little bit since a lot of you don't know a lot about my husband!

6 MONTHS

I know this seems to be all about my kids, but Jaime and I apparently live boring lives! I will think of something entertaining about us for the next post! Anyhow, our Macie is 6 months old now and just wanted to share a little about her!

She is a little mover! Her legs never stop moving and now she has noticed that in the bath tub they can splash water so you can imagine how wet I end up when I give her one! She can roll from her belly to her back but not from her back to her belly! We decided that she doesn't really need to since her head can pretty much turn all the way around anyway!

All it takes is eye contact for Macie and she will give you a smile. She never cries unless she is hungry or gets startled, but when she cries, your ears don't want to be near her because it is loud!

We forgot how fun it is to have a baby around, and I am sure we will forget again once she starts crawling and getting into things! But for now, she has been a blessing in our lives and melts us with her sweet smile!

IT'S A BLOG EAT BLOG WORLD!

Okay, so this whole blogging thing is crazy! First of all, I get so excited thinking that my blog is getting cuter and then I am proven wrong when I go to look at everyone else's blog and realize that they all put mine to shame! It is not like it is a contest or anything like that, but I guess it kinda feels that way sometimes! Oh well! I guess I do what I can!

It is crazy how every time I hop on, I find someone or someone finds me! As Jaime would say, "It is a tangled web!" But truly, how easy would it be to spend hours on this stuff a day! If I didn't have 80 other things to do, I probably would!

Anyway, you don't have to comment on this if you don't want to! I was just in deep thought mode there for a minute!

Just thought this was cute!

About 1 and 1/2 years ago, Jaime and I went to New York and left our little Tay Jay at Uncle John and Aunt Chandi's house! This is her in the bath with her cousin Keaton! Aren't they cute! It is a good thing Taylor is not awake to see me putting this picture on here or she would say, "Mom, you can see my boobies!!!" (Not that that keeps her from stripping on a daily basis!)

THE DOODLE BOPS

Since I didn't have a blog last Halloween, I thought I would share this cute picture of Taylor in her DoodleBops costume. The clarity isn't very good since it was taken on a camera phone, but you get the idea. I actually ordered the costume a few months in advance because I thought it was cute and she hadn't even watched the show. So, I figured I had better let her see it so she knows who she is being for Halloween! From then on she referred to herself as DeeDee Doodle and to this day, she wants to watch the DoodleBops every single day!!! Gotta love it!
